Released 30 years after his debut, this LP finds George Strait weighing his own mortality and shrugging it off anyways. On the title track, he commits to living every day to its fullest, his band’s twangy dance grooves giving him a big head start. “I’ll Always Remember You”, meanwhile, is sung not to a lover, but to his fans, with Strait thanking his audience with a swelling ballad as moving as anything he’s recorded.
