Ritzot Arukot

First gaining recognition as the frontman of alternative band Monica Sex in the ‘90s, Yali Sobol has since become one of Israel's most revered rock singer/songwriters, as well as a celebrated novelist. On Ritsot Arukot (Long-Distance Runs), his third studio album, Sobol takes a disarmingly honest look at his life, wrapped in a warm studio sound created during live sessions helmed by producer Assaf Amdursky. Showcasing a duet with local indie queen Zoe Polanski, who also assumes guitar duties, this collection of masterful pop-rock tracks proves that genuine reflection—and gentle authenticity—never really goes out of style.
