Soen & Vergeet

Soen & Vergeet is a 30th birthday celebration for Afrikaanse Idols heartthrob Willem Botha as well as a reflection on the pop star’s 11th year in the music industry. Botha ropes in guitar-driven choruses and the occasional synth hook to craft a bright, energetic take on pop—which often veers towards a wide-open country sound, topped off with the Huisgenoot Tempo and Fiësta Award winner’s soothing vocals and vivid songwriting.
