Loose (Deluxe Version)

After achieving international fame as a pancultural pop star, Canadian singer/songwriter Nelly Furtado opted for a dramatic reinvention with 2006’s Loose. Bold and brazen, her third album is a slinky collection of club-friendly tracks produced almost entirely by hip-hop ace Timbaland. That sonic evolution extended to Furtado’s persona as a performer—on singles like “Promiscuous” and “Maneater”, she radiates a sultry, sexually adventurous aura as potent as the undulating synth lines and stuttering beats.
