Sigo a Lo Mío

Fully past the growing pains of child stardom, Abraham Mateo continues in the direction of 2018’s reggaetón-inflected A Cámara Lenta with his sixth album. Just a couple of years into his twenties, the Cádiz pop singer exudes a confidence here that comes from spending more than a decade in the public eye. Amid the thematic tumult of “Tiempo Pa’ Olvidar”, he finds a kindred spirit in Becky G. Elsewhere on the features front, he connects with a predominantly pan-Latin set of collaborators, including Colombian reggaetonero Manuel Turizo for the nervous yearning of “No Encuentro Palabras” and Cuban rapper El Micha for the boozy romantic recall of “Juré Olvidarte”.
