Ankledeep: 001 (DJ Mix)

London-based duo Jacana People bring us a mix of adventurous electronic music that finds inspiration in places far away from the confines of the club. “The first mix in the Ankledeep series is here,” they tell Apple Music. “Full of leftfield club moments that are fuelled and defined by the sounds and atmospheres from the natural world. All these tracks have an element of something alive and tangible, they breathe and move in unexpected ways. We wanted to keep things fluid and throw as many moments and genres in this mix as we could. [There are] some amazing bits in here from Tibi Dabo, Roza Terenzi, Otik and loads more. Ankledeep is all about alternative club music that draws on a world beyond the dance floor.”
