Honey 3.0

Over more than 15 years, Yo Yo Honey Singh’s club-ready, pop-influenced hip-hop style has ruled India and beyond. But the multi-hyphenate rarely rests on his laurels. On Honey 3.0, his mainstream sensibilities come with a flavourful twist, such as the Punjabi artist’s nod to folk music on “Dheeth” and the heartfelt, reggae-driven rhythms that dominate “Kuley Kuley” with British ragga legend Apache Indian. The turntable-scratching on “Vigdiyan Heeran” is also a highlight, as is the serious dance vibe on “Savage”.
