Feeling wearied after 10 years and five full albums, Lady Antebellum went on hiatus in 2016 to work on solo projects and rejuvenate. It proved a smart move with the trio returning to their heart-clutching, harmonious best on ballads “Home” and “Army”, the graceful country pop of “Heart Break” and the gospel-tinged “Good Time to Be Alive”. There’s even some reinvention of their sound via “You Look Good”’s convincing delivery of horn-powered funk-pop.
