27 CLUB

Since 2021, Chennai-raised and Mumbai-based RANJ has been crafting energetic, emotional pop, R&B and hip-hop. The singer, songwriter and rapper shuns brackets—offering gritty, empowering hooks and lyrics as provocative as they are playful. Her debut full-length mixtape 27 CLUB shows a maturity in style and approach; plus the title is apt as she’s turned 27, an infamous age in music history. RANJ balances biographical pop (“RELIGIOUS”) with cinematic Tamil tracks (“KAIDHI,” “URUDHI MOZHIGAL”) and raucous hip-hop (“8oz. of P***Y JUICE”) on this introspective yet party-friendly opus.
