Ben Folds Live

With Ben Folds Live, the snarky-yet-sentimental ivory tickler strips his tunes down to voice and piano, and it displays just how dynamic his songwriting is. He’s more than capable of rocking out by himself, as opener “One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces” proves, and he delivers a wistful lament on the passing of time with “Silver Street”. He gives the people what they want with a faithful rendition of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer”, injecting the classic with his infectious energy.
