Can't Stop Now

Seven years into a hit-filled career, Canadian-Punjabi singer-songwriter and rapper Gurinder Gill is at that point where he doesn’t need to prove anything to anybody. There’s an evident assuredness on this third solo album, which is almost evenly split between him giving voice to his inner philosophical hustler and passionate romantic sides. Can’t Stop Now is boosted by some marquee collaborators from the Great White North—GG shares seamless sonic chemistry with Jazzy B on “Heavyweight”, and is at his reflective best on the NAV-featuring bilingual cut “Chosen Ones”.
